Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
Geez, this one is a hard one. I have a hard time seeing my work in a positive light. I don’t think it’s negative by any means. I had this humble weapon beaten into my head.
I like to think I have brought a great deal of representation to my people in my art. I try to take away stigmas in language, features and hair types. It means a lot to me that people see themselves in art. Everyone should have that moment.

Been reading kids’ books myself lately. Started with the Howl’s Moving Castle trilogy by Diana Wynne Jones, and now I’m reading her Chrestomanci trilogy. Had to take a break from intense reading material. I may never go back to it. =-)

I started some Neil Gaiman a but back. Didn’t love it so tried a few others. I didn’t know Howl’s moving Castle was books. Excited to read those.

Didn’t see the movie until after I read the book. They’re very different. I liked it too.
