A few years ago I started calling my thirty year old niece ‘Kiddo’. Then it occurred to me that at her age I might not have liked anyone calling me ‘kiddo’, so I asked her if she was okay with it. She said, “Sure… grandma.” Heh. Now we call each other ‘kiddo’ and ‘grandma’ and then laugh and laugh. No one else gets it.
So. Happy new year to you too, grandpa.

I think as time has gone by I started calling every one kiddo. Even people older than me. jajaja
I love the look people give me for calling them kiddo.
