Hola Galeras,

Hope all is well. I’m at it again with my doctor visits. I gotta get my eyes checked once a year via my diabetes.

So.. I have diabetic retinopathy. It is an after effect diabetic disease. If it goes untreated, I could go blind. It’s the major cause of blindness in the states. Fun times gang.

More doctors next week. And I have a date for the art show.

  1. I am wishing you the best on getting your eyesight to improve. I find myself quite nearsighted but that has been the case all of my life.

    As artists, our hands and eyes are really the most valuable parts of our body. Stay up and continue to maintain your health. Good luck on your art show!

      I’m going to my doctor’s appointments. I hope it all works out too. Losing my sight has become a legit fear. I feel like it should travel more and see things while I still have time. I have to paint more too.

      1. It is one of my fears too, so I understand to an extent where you are coming from. Nevertheless, stay strong. I know it is a stressful situation, but this is the most vital time to care for yourself and put your feelings into your craft. Do what you can
