Happy Tuesday. Hope you are all doing well.
It’s been a wild week. Not all good or bad. I made you some art today. I hope you like it.
I’m playing with my designs in this one. The crows always make me happy and the design tiles keep my mind flowing. So I baked a cake so to speak.
The idea hit me in the car. I thinking of doing Jawtober again. The rules are still the same. Pick a theme and paint it 13 different times. Make it into a book and share it with us.
Should be fun.

What a fun weekend. I ran around doing all types of stuff.
We went to the Renfest in Maryland. It was fun.
Also made some art videos.
I just really figured out how to just kind of let go this weekend. It’s been really hard with everything stress Dad being sick on and so forth, but I really focused and try to have a good time this weekend. I didn’t wanna be a bummer. I worry sometimes that I’m so focused on my art that I’m a bummer. So just try and celebrate everything that’s going on as it comes..
I picked up all these carp wind socks for my tent for the art shows makes me happy.
How to beat artist block

I think in a lot of ways I’m just trying to kind of figure out the best way to be an artist. Like being super productive is great and all, but if there’s nothing behind it, it doesn’t really matter. So I listened to those voices and had to tell me to put the paint in the in certain places. And when there’s nothing to be heard you go back to what you know your traditions, your cultures, the beauty and the simplicity of patterns and textiles. Looks like breathing you just do..
