So much going on this week but feeling good.

Jamin out most of the week to Augustus Pablo. A fun dancehall artist from the early years of the West Indies sharing its musics.

“Jamaican producer Augustus Pablo was perhaps the first melodica virtuoso, using the unique instrument to add a mysterious and melancholic vibe to his classic dub tracks. Debuting in the early ’70s, Pablo made his name with a series of classic instrumental albums at a time when reggae was dominated by passionate roots singers. Collaborating with studio wizards like King Tubby and Keith Hudson, Pablo laid down hypnotic grooves that he filled with exotic melodies, an evocative style he called the “Far East sound,” and he continued recording essential dubs until his death in ’99”.
