24 shots preview

Hola Galeras,

I’ve been doing these for a few years. I really enjoy film as most of you know. I post these full rolls on my Patreon.

The story behind this roll? I’m reworking my studio. It’s been a long plan. I find looking at my older works is fun. It’s like reading a book for the first time in a decade. You remember things and relearn lessons.

Also I got Marley’s birthday on my fingers.

Busy busy,

Painter’s Breakfast

Hola Galeras,

Hope you are well. It’s my birthday! I have a very special guest. My wife Alec and I have so much fun.

Hope your day goes well.

Road trip

throughout space and time…

I think the hard part is looking backwards is thinking “Why did that not work?” I thought this was one of my best videos and most people never saw it. I think I should have promoted it better. I’m not sure how or what was around 8 years ago to promote on but something.

I do love this painting deeply. I was so proud to ship it off to its new home. It was a few years later.

It feels good to see it come together.

Painter’s Radio

I felt this could be a good way to do the radio show without radio.

It reminds me of siting on a hardwood floor as a kiddo listening to the records and radio play. I would try to color in The Phantom comic strips in the paper with melting crayons because in South America it’s always hot and moist. I would try to make purple by rolling the broken blues and the chips of red. Never really worked because you need space to mix bigger then the customer character in a panel. The learning curve is and was stiff. 😊

It’s funny when I think of my trips to see my family I remember food and music more than even faces. Also I remember the white sand and drift wood on the beaches.

Music just feels like life.

Sometimes music just feels smooth.

And others perfect and warm.

Good night Galeras,

Jãws
