I think in a lot of ways I’m just trying to kind of figure out the best way to be an artist. Like being super productive is great and all, but if there’s nothing behind it, it doesn’t really matter. So I listened to those voices and had to tell me to put the paint in the in certain places. And when there’s nothing to be heard you go back to what you know your traditions, your cultures, the beauty and the simplicity of patterns and textiles. Looks like breathing you just do..
