Crazy week.
Wild week. Dad broke his hip yesterday. Madness. Don’t know what to do. Just sitting with him and doing some sketches. Trying to keep up with prints and artworks.

My inflammation has been a problem so I haven’t been moving very well. I’m still running around because I have to but it’s not pleasant.
This painting was an act of love. I found it to me like letting go of a dream.

Weekend rebound

This week was not great but it ended amazingly. I’m struggling with these paints. They are fine but I’m not coming at them 100%.
I feel like I’m working on thing painting to just get the energy out.
I got another rejection letter from a gallery. Two times this year, at least this one didn’t leave an insulting comment. It’s fine, the next one will be the markets. I’m always a favorite at the markets.
I guess even your favorite artist gets humbled a few times a year.
On to the next one.
Just gotta sit by the fire for the rest of the night.
