Hola Galeras,
I’ve been doing these for a few years. I really enjoy film as most of you know. I post these full rolls on my Patreon.
The story behind this roll? I’m reworking my studio. It’s been a long plan. I find looking at my older works is fun. It’s like reading a book for the first time in a decade. You remember things and relearn lessons.

Also I got Marley’s birthday on my fingers.

Busy busy,
Pintor Vamos
The artist making things. The fear and the love for making.

The album is online! Valentine Slim music
I kind of has a Muddy Waters sound. It’s nice. Do me a favor and give it a listen.
I’m some where in this painting around 8%. I normally only show these to my Patreons
.

I have so much to do with this one.
Someone asked me what I was “afraid of “ once and after a decade of contemplating I can say “losing my memory”. It has things it that are just for me; the powerful stuff, the silly and the sad. Each pull me up from my grave and pull me to painting all night long.
I really hope for a ceasefire soon by the by.
Later Galeras,

Hola Galeras,
Hope you are well.
Another week of art and thoughts on life. A painters work is never done.

It is a beautiful life. You get to just be in it some times, it’s so rare to be more than just a concept. Snow days give me perspective that I often need.
Health, family and art might be the perfect cake mix for me.

A snow day to be creative and lazy.
I remember when I first moved back up here I would run into the snow. 17 years later, not so much. My bones hurt and I’m cold. I still think it’s beautiful but I don’t want to be wet. Snow is very wet. I’m less fun then I used to be. 😂😂😂
Winter is still magical. I like seeing other people’s snow men.

The journey of this painting is over and I’m happy to feel so full from it. The trip taught me so much and I’m better for it.

I finally named this one.
My art often gets made, shown off and then put away with a few hundred other paintings. I’m trying to rediscover my old paintings and tell little stories about them.
This painting is about my Abuelos. They were both car lovers. One worked on cars a it and the other loved driving them. I was thinking about them a lot last year. They both pasted away a long time ago. Their memories lived in my thoughts a lot.
It might be one of my favorite paintings I have done in a while.
