When I was a menino, the wind and I had a magical connection. I spent a lot of time alone so I talked to myself and NC is a windy state. Lots of yes or no questions. At one point I realized the breeze on my arms fueled my imagination. Still to this day I talk to myself as I walk outside. All my ideas rush in. The colors and shapes are vivid. A painting is done before I even start it. Makes me happy but restless. Always making. Arte é minha alma. Art is my soul. It rips it way from the waking world into my finger and wrists. No peace to be found outside of choosen moments of creativity. Art is my porn, my food and water. When you look deep inside your head what color is the paintbrush? Getting older and finding my new speed is awful. I hate not being able to stand and paint for 10 hours. I never imagined it would take so much out of me. New episode out today. Had fun making this on @nerdybebop with @smika122 podcast. Art starts as one thing and then becomes all things. It’s the echo of a rock ina well. New designs coming around the bend. Should be really nice to have these on shirts soon. The best art I the art you enjoy. It’s simple but often times it’s all you need. New episode of the podcast is up.
