It’s so easy with everything up in the air to forget to be kind. Not in a you have no manners but in a go out of your way to do something nice for yourself and other people. 
some times the journey is to just get to kind moments. It’s the journey not the destination to focus on. You will get there when you get there.

I think I’m chasing a moment of peace and madness in my work. It’s that chance you get in making where the world melts and your focus is 1000%. It’s almost impossible but it’s the heart beat of my creative process. 
Rest is for the plain and plain is not sexy.

Planning for recptions is hard but fun.
I took some time off to make for the show with the prints but not really paint. It has been paintful to not live with the brush in my hand. I long for the madness of the ink covering everything.

never sleep
Making it a point to learn something new, everyday. Even if it is about some thing I think I know about. Makes the world feel bigger to me. Nothing simple enough not to learn it.
The ins and outs of my camera seem to be complex this round. I took a call on it back when I was in high school. I’m relearning all those steps this Spring. My mind feels more alive this go round.
So much to do in a day. All at once and then not even a little bit done with the creative projects.
