I feel like this life is under water. A season of time cut with Thyme. All these flavors based inside one another and no cook time in sight.
It can be hard to be your own motivation.
no one feels the edge of over cooked like you do when creativity is over stretched. Inktober is a mixture of great ideas and will power sliced with madness and not always the good kind.
in my attempts to find clarity I walk places, like Chinatown. Old shops and wild smells. 
we shall see as I grow into new things. Some say the worst critics are self. I feel that is a half truth. I say it’s family. They build and break you with good intentions.

Into the sun
into the wilds
The time to let all things dry and bond.
Those leaves are the rest of time in a rapper. A moment of space enclosed with a life print, laying in the sun to vanish. The darkness creeps in hours before my mind can grasp it. We are the epicentre. Paint is the epicentre. Ink is the epicentre.

The build up
Inktober for most artist’s is exciting and often insanity for all of October. We see it as this often impossible task. So my secret is to treat it like just a fun drawing session with my brushes. I try to do as many as I can in one setting. I know those aren’t the rules but the hell with the rules. Life comes at you some days sideways. The idea that you have enough time to think and prep for 31 days is stupid. I for one have commissions to do in addition to Inktober that are important also. I’m sure a lot of us do. We are all very talented.
Just breath and promise yourself to try and that is what is important. If you are even doing it for a day then that is a big deal and I would love to see it. Leave me a link to your art so we can see it. Share with us.
